I would go for ebony - BUT - I am assuming a spruce soundboard.

The top picture is the sides, the bottom one the back.

Hi don! Thanks for the nice words on sycamore. I really love the stuff and will probably order a new set before too long. I have a leftover sycamore neck and I`d like to build a round neck this time. I can play one of those!After all this talk I`d better not tary or it will be priced out of my budget. I will certainly post some pics of the resonator as soon as I get this roll finished and scan them into my puter. I`m still shooting with a 40 yr. old Pentax that has never failed me.
